Poor old Hammersmith - Grecian tells us over and over and over again how H never looks after himself, then for the second half of the book treats the guy like Beaker from the Muppet Show.Ī key character vanishes halfway through and isn't missed or even mentioned. ![]() This one has a ludicrous gothic plot, full of cardboard characters and more deaths than Hamlet. I liked The Yard, and expected another good one with the same coppers. ![]()
